After 33 years in the business with probably over 5,000 live shows under his belt and endless hours of TV and film, George Kapiniaris joins Gabriel Rossi for another big comedy spectacular event featuring loads of jokes and music from the 90s.

Last week the Greek Australian comic kicked off his A Verry Woggy Xmas in July show in Melbourne, followed by performances in Sydney and Adelaide.

“This is the 16th year we have been touring [A Very] Woggy Xmas in July, and we’re pleased to welcome James Liotta to join the group as MC, with special guests to support in each state,” Kapiniaris said.

“It’s sure to be a great night featuring new material and more song parodies that the show has been famous for. If you loved the music and TV shows from the 90s, you will absolutely love this one.”

A Very Woggy Xmas in July will go on for a total of six shows across major Australian cities, while 23 July will also see Kapiniaris begin his Songs of Countdown Music show with Tottie Goldsmith from the Chantoozies for a six-date musical comedy tour all around Victoria starting at The Flying Saucer Club in Elsternwick.

“I’m not just doing one show, I’m doing at least three to four at once in 2017 with many more side-splitting performances to come in 2018,” Kapiniaris told Neos Kosmos.

“Is it because Acropolis Now is back on TV all over the country on WIN TV that my star status has gone up again or is it because I work so much in different styles of entertainment that performing is just second nature to me?
“Come see for yourselves,” he enthused.

Finally, on 22 September the comedian will launch his Straight Outta Compo show for a six-month run all around Australia with the boys from Here Come the Habibs and the legendary Italian Joe Avati after having finished a 20-date comedy festival theatre run in the first half of the year, getting five star reviews in every city.
