For the 14th year in a row, A Very Woggy Xmas comes to The Comics Lounge, promising four big woggy festive nights. The comedy extravaganza boasts some of Australia’s finest multicultural stand-up comedians.

Headlined by Acropolis Now comedian George Kapinaris and joined by Tahir (Habib from Fat Pizza and Housos) and Gabriel Rossi, whom we have to thank for the engaging concept dating back to 2001. American star on the rise Ashley Fils-Aime, will also take to the stage to contribute to the light-hearted multicultural event.

The trio has been credited for keeping the shows politically incorrect while providing an extremely insightful observation of how Australia deals with new migrants. Undoubtedly, the event’s well-honed stand-up sets will have both Australian and ethnically diverse audience members in stitches. With multicultural, cheerful ‘woggyfied’ satire, Kapiniaris and his team will leave you remembering your childhood, contemplating if cultural stereotypes still exist and loving the fact that most people who call Australia home have a deep connection elsewhere.

A Very Woggy Xmas will be showing at The Comics Lounge in North Melbourne from December 17 to December 22. It is a show for all ages, therefore a great choice for a family night out.

Price $43.50 to $68.50. For reservations call 03 9348 9488 and for more information visit thecomicslounge.com.au
