Greek American actress Jennifer Aniston will be starring in Gary Marshall’s new film, along with Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts.
Open Road Films announced last week that it had acquired all US distribution rights to the romantic comedy.
Gary Marshall’s Mother’s Day marks the latest of the director’s celebrity-packed features with a holiday theme, following New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day.
The plot revolves around the life of several mothers as the actual holiday approaches.
Unlike Roberts and Hudson, for Aniston it will be the first time she’s had the opportunity to work with the director.
Production will begin in Atlanta within the next month and the movie is expected to hit cinemas in April 2016, the weekend prior to Mother’s Day.
