Australian Formula 1 young gun Daniel Ricciardo, and Toro Rosso team-mate Jean-Eric Vergne, are being groomed ultimately to be Formula 1 super-stars and eventual World Champions.
Both drivers joined Red Bull's junior driver development program on the same day four years ago. Ricciardo already has 11 races under his belt after a short loan to Hispania Racing in the latter half of 2011 while team-mate French man Eric Vergne faces his rookie season after the TR team opted to axe Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari for this year.
At testing in Jerez, Spain, last week Torro Rosso unveiled their new STR7 which is the third car designed and built by the team. Toro Rosso finished ninth on the Manufacturers Championship in 2010 and eighth last year, hoping to finish one or more positions better in 2012.
