Want to experience a little piece of Greece in Sydney? Well, you’re in luck. Returning this month on 11 October is Burwood’s annual Greek Street Fair.
Organised by volunteers of the Greek Orthodox Parish and Community of Burwood and District, they have a host of entertainment lined up, with Greek music and dance performances throughout the day, including the talented bouzouki player George Calopedos.
Get amongst it and enjoy the hospitality Greeks are renowned for around the globe.
Peruse the array of market stalls, while enjoying your favourite Greek food, sweets and drinks.
A family-friendly event, there’ll be something for everyone with activities for both young and old, including a competition with a chance to win a $500 voucher from Earlwood’s Frappe Cafe-Bar.
Attendance is free of charge.
