Mylene Mosella is an iconographer and is currently exhibiting her contemporary icon paintings in the Hellenic Club’s gallery. The paintings are the subject of her theological inspiration and have not been previously painted. Icon painting has always been regulated by very formal technique rules as to drawing, ratios and use of inverse perspective symbols, lights processing mode and the use of gold (gilding).

Although these techniques are acquired through extensive training that takes years, talent depends not only on the skill of the artist but especially of a theological and spiritual maturity. For this reason, each icon is the result of an inner experience and different artistic solutions.
