Melbourne City is already using its new connections, settling into their preseason training camp in none other than Manchester city.

They were seen out and about on Wednesday, getting into training a day after they arrived.

New signing Damien Duff joined Melbourne City for the first time having signed a one-year deal with City. Fellow star singing, Spanish national team star David Villa – who has inked a 10-game guest stint won’t be joining the team till October.

Melbourne City are in town for 17 days to train at the EPL champion’s training base and to play a series of pre-season friendlies ahead of next month’s Westfield FFA Cup round of 32 clash with Sydney FC on Tuesday August 12.

City also announced a five-year sponsorship deal with Etihad Airways this week, and launching their new home and away kit.

They will be in Manchester till July 24.
