Adele Exarchopoulos, the French born Greek actor, has joined the cast of the upcoming romantic drama, The Last Face, directed by Academy Award-winner Sean Penn.
Exarchopoulos – who rose to prominent fame after her break-out role in the foreign indie flick Blue is the Warmest Colour – is set to take on Hollywood in this movie.
Just a fewhort weeks ago, Exarchopoulos was seen dining with Penn in Paris, leading to rumours that they may have been discussing his latest project.
The Last Face also stars Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem. The story centres on a doctor (Theron) doing humanitarian work in Africa in the midst of political conflict. Exarchopoulos will play a journalist.
The film is scheduled to shoot in Africa. No release date has been set yet.
