AHEPA’s Youth Chapter, Achilleas 24, promises that this year’s Father’s Day will be different to that of previous years, as this year’s gifts will last longer and have a more meaningful impact – it will be a fundraiser in support of Paradise Kids 4 Africa and the mission of Father Themis.

Father Themis Adamopoulos has been dubbed the “Apostle of the Poor and Oppressed”, in recognition of his work to improve the life of children in Sierra Leone and Kenya.

The recent outbreak of ebola virus in West Africa means that the need for medical and other assistance is greater than ever. All funds raised at the High Tea will be donated to Father Themis to assist Paradise Kids 4 Africa in its relief projects. A medical clinic, canteen and educational facilities will benefit from the attendance of High Tea guests.

When: Sunday, 7 September at 2 pm
Where: Harbour Kitchen, Docklands
