The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) has announced nominations are now open for its annual Excellence Awards.

The ceremony will take place at the HACCI Excellence Awards Gala Ball at Melbourne’s Grand Hyatt hotel on Saturday 21 November.

The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1964 to represent Hellenic Australian business and to promote trade between Greece and Australia.

Its awards have become an institution for the Greek Australian community, aiming to reward and acknowledge organisations and individuals that have achieved excellence in their chosen fields.

“For more than half a century, one of HACCI’s key objectives has been to recognise excellence within the community and to reward those who have not only achieved outstanding success in their pursuits, but who have also shown tremendous generosity in contributing to the community,” said HACCI Chairman George Moraitis.

“The contribution of the Hellenic Australian community has had a tremendous impact in shaping the fabric of the Australia we live in today and HACCI is excited to acknowledge a fresh group of contributors with this year’s awards.”

– The Spiros Stamoulis Lifetime Achievement Award
