The Hellenic Lawyers Association (HAL) will be hosting the inaugural Alexander Christy Freeleagus Oration later this month in Brisbane.
Due to take place on Friday 22 May, the event sponsored by Clayton Utz will be held at the Banco Court of the QEII Courts of Law Complex.
Presenting on the day will be the Honourable Justice Emilios Kyrou of the Supreme Court of Victoria, who will delve into the ‘Attributes of a Good Lawyer and Judge’.
Also participating and closing the event’s proceedings will be Queensland’s patron of HAL, the Honourable Justice Anthe Philippides of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
As the event is taking place at the Banco Court where seating is limited, registrations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment and secure a place.
Additionally, HAL will be holding its first annual general meeting in Melbourne on Wednesday 27 May, 2015 at 6.00 pm, where only current financial members will be eligible to vote.
A free event for HAL members, non-members are required to pay $30 to attend.
