The Hellenic Museum in association with Thespis, presents ‘Heroes of the Past & Present’, a theatrical collage of moments in Ancient Greek tragedy eerily paralleled with current events.

Exploring key moments in Greek tragedy, this production highlights the striking reality of how art and life come together, and promotes an affirmative view of disability through the arts.

Director Stathis Grapsas’ work has stretched across continents, and gives a powerful voice to marginalised groups in society who are often left unheard.

Starring Katrina Welsby, Alex Litsoudis, and Andy McKinnon, this play is an evocative exploration of heroism and courage over time delving into the past in order to reflect upon the present.

The performance has limited audience capacity so booking early is recommended.

Performances are on Saturday 25, Monday 27 March and Saturday 1 April at 7.00 pm at the Hellenic Museum, 280 William St, Melbourne, VIC.
Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 concession. To book, go to
