It is too often the case that those who work hard go unnoticed, but The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) is endeavouring to change that, with their annual HACCI Excellence Awards Gala Ball.

Over the years the Hellenic Australian community has made a significant contribution to the shaping of Australia through its hard work and dedication, and the award ceremony is a chance to acknowledge and reward the best and brightest organisations and individuals in their chosen fields.

There are six Awards for Excellence in total: The Spiros Stamoulis Lifetime Achievement Award, The Delphi Bank Business Excellence Award, The Professional Excellence Award, The Chris Saristavros Young Achievers Award, The Community Service Award, and The Sporting Excellence Award.

HACCI itself has been recognised for its efforts in creating the awards event, which has been an annual highlight for more than 20 years and is considered to be the premier business and community awards for the Hellenic Australian community.

Established in 1964, HACCI was formed to represent the Hellenic Australian business and professional community and to promote bilateral trade between Greece and Australia.

The HACCI Excellence Awards Gala Ball will take place on Friday 18 November at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, 123 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC at 7.00 pm. Tickets are $235 per person. To make a booking, contact the HACCI office on Thursday and Friday on (03) 9602 2977, or email rsvp@hacci.com.au
