South Melbourne’s Lakeside stadium will host a visit from the Caltex Socceroos tomorrow for a special family orientated Fan Day event.

Socceroos fans will get the chance to get up close and personal with some of their Socceroos heroes, who will be in town for their second World Cup Qualifier in five days.

The team will be preparing for Tuesday night’s blockbuster match against Japan at Docklands Stadium less than a week after playing Saudi Arabia in the Middle East.

Sunday’s session at Lakeside will also give fans an opportunity to watch coach Ange Postecoglou put the team through a training session.

Fan Day has become a regular family event prior to a Socceroos match on home soil and gives fans, both young and old, the chance to engage with the team.
