On Sunday 27 August, the order in New South Wales will celebrate AHEPA Day, the establishment of the Australian Hellenic Educational Progressive Association in 1934.
All Ahepans and their families are invited to St Spyridon Orthodox Church in Kingsford for Holy Liturgy and a requiem (Mnimosyno) for the Ahepans who have passed in the last year.
The association will then gather at the Pan-Arcadian Club in Ashbury to share a meal and honour those Ahepans who have contributed especially to the order and to the community, joined by a number of parliamentarians and other esteemed guests.
