Nicostratos The Pelican (Νικόστρατος, Ένα Ξεχωριστό Καλοκαίρι in Greek) is a 2011 French-Greek production directed by Olivier Horlait based on the book by Eric Boisset.

A 14-year-old boy, Yannis, lives on an isolated Greek island with his father (Emir Kusturica).

Their relationship deteriorates until he finds a baby pelican and meets a girl named Angeliki.

This wonderful comedy – “gentle drama” will be screened in Greek, it’s easy to follow and contains beautiful scenes filmed in the Cycladic islands of Milos and Sifnos.
