Olympiakos is within two points of mathematically clinching its fifth consecutive Super League title after its 3-1 away victory over struggling Panthrakikos on Wednesday.

The Reds are now 11 points ahead of Panathinaikos in second, with four games left to play till the end of the regular season.
Wednesday’s game took place behind closed doors at Komotini, as it had been postponed due to adverse weather conditions from last month when the 27th round of games was held without any fans at the stands.

All goals were recorded in the first half, with Olympiakos taking a 2-0 lead from the first 10 minutes through Jorge Benitez and Franco Jara. Panthrakikos reduced its arrears via Deniz Baykara, before Luka Milivojevic restored the Reds’ two-goal advantage.

Panthrakikos, Levadiakos and Platanias hover around the drop zone with 34 points. One of them will likely join relegation favourite Ergotelis (on 28 points) and already demoted OFI Crete and Niki Volou on their way down to the Football League.
