Pedoulakis replaces Obradovic on PAO bench
Argyris Pedoulakis has undertaken the tough challenge of filling Zeljko Obradovic’s position on the Panathinaikos bench
Argyris Pedoulakis has undertaken the tough challenge of filling Zeljko Obradovic’s position on the Panathinaikos bench.
The former coach of Peristeri and Makedonikos, among other clubs, has signed a two-year deal with the Greens and is aware of the demanding task ahead of him.
"We know we have no grace period, as Panathinaikos is a very big club, but since everything is new here, we are asking people to judge us, as harshly as they like, at the end of the season,» said Pedoulakis, who had played for Panathinaikos from 1986 to 1992.
Panathinaikos has embarked on another year of cost-cutting at the club, and following Obradovic’s departure, it has also said farewell to Nick Calathes, who has agreed terms with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia, while Romain Sato is in talks with Fenerbahce and Costas Kaimakoglou has received a very interesting proposition from another Turkish team, Galatasaray
