Greek Australian male stripper ‘Pistol Pete’ has written a tell-all book about his experiences in the secretive stripping industry.

Already a bestseller on Amazon in the adult humour category, The Secret Diary of an International Stripper is an autobiographical account of Pete’s career which includes saucy and funny stories he’s experienced along the way of becoming an international stripper.

Pete entered the industry in 2010 after finding himself stuck in a boring accounting job and suffering problems with his body image.

Stripping was his outlet, his passion, after seeing the excitement and smiles he could muster by performing to a crowd.

While he was entering this uncharted territory, he kept a diary of all the interesting, funny and sometimes touching incidents he encountered.

“When I chose the stories, I didn’t choose predictable stories,” he tells Neos Kosmos.

“Some stories can start off sexual, but they don’t end up sexual. Some stories start off plain but can end sexual.”

One of the most treasured stories in the book, he says, is when he was able to grant a ‘bucket list’ wish for a woman with terminal cancer.

“It was very touching, because she couldn’t even stand up. I actually had to lift her up in my arms,” he says.

“Then when I placed her in the chair, she was so weak she couldn’t jump up and turn and twist, so I was twisting the chair around.

“She had tears in her eyes.

“These are the beautiful parts of the industry.”

While these stories resonate with the reader, sometimes it’s the negative aspects and the reality of the industry that grabs the most attention.

“I have included the temptations that I’ve come across in this industry,” Pete says.

The book also includes his formative years living in Greece and migrating to Australia and how his parents helped him on the road to becoming a stripper.
