Former Portugal international Ricardo Sá Pinto tendered his resignation as coach of Super League club Atromitos this week after 18 league games in charge.
Sa Pinto, 42, was hired by the Athens club before the match against Olympiakos at Peristeri which Atromitos won 1-0, and departed after the 2-1 loss in the return fixture at Olympiakos.
Under-20 team coach Giorgos Korakakis will sit on the Atromitos bench as a caretaker for the game at Veria this weekend.
On the contrary, PAOK coach Angelos Anastasiadis, who had resigned after the Thessaloniki club’s 3-1 defeat at OFI Crete, will remain on the bench at least for the big game against Olympiakos on Sunday.
