Panathinaikos dropped two precious points at Giannena as local PAS Giannina held it to a goalless draw on Monday, which was also the result of the Thrace derby between Xanthi and Panthrakikos.

In the game that had stopped on the 26th minute on Sunday evening due to fog and was continued on Monday afternoon, PAS and Panathinaikos shared chances and points, so the result was fair.

However it leaves the Greens seven points from leader PAOK, just before the league’s halfway point.

At Xanthi the local team played the cat-and-mouse game with visiting Panthrakikos, but was unable to find a way through the Komotini team’s defense. It was also unlucky as it hit the woodwork in the first half.

Therefore Xanthi’s run of six straight wins, including victories over PAOK and Panathinaikos, came to an end on Monday.

Meanwhile there are report suggesting that Olympiakos may part ways with its coach, Michel.
