Somali migrants, including a woman and two young children, are seen outside a central Athens building used by illegal immigrants that was evacuated during a police raid on Thursday.
Police arrested 85 illegal migrants following the raid on two buildings, on Sachtouri Street near Koumoundourou Square and another on Verantzerou Street near Omonia Square.
Special cleaning crews quarantined the buildings and declared the dilapidated buildings a public health risk.
The owners of the buildings will face charges for undeclared income as they allegedly charged 5-7 euros a day per occupant in buildings lacking electricity and running water.
