The OPA School of traditional dance will host their Traditional Glendi this weekend, featuring Melbourne’s best traditional musicians – Sotiris Tragianopoulos on clarinet, Thomas Missios on trumpet, John Kostarakis on lute and vocals, Joseph Tsombanopoulos on gaida, lyra, kaval and percussion, and Acchilles Giangouli on lute, vocals and bouzouki.
Tickets are $20, mezedes included.
All the proceeds from the event will go towards purchase of authentic traditional costumes.
