UPDATE: Two children missing from the Preston area have been located this morning.

Matthew Redding, aged 10 and Amber Redding, aged 8, were brought into the Preston Police Station by a friend of the childrens’ mother about 9.30am.

Both children are safe and well and there are no concerns regarding their health.

Investigators would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Victoria Police are appealing to anyone that has information about the whereabouts of Preston children Matthew and Amber Karamouzis (Redding).

Police have followed a lead given my their mother that the duo are at a friend’s house but officers have been unable to locate them and are concerned for their welfare.

Matthew (10) is described as being 130cm tall with a medium build, short brown hair and an olive complexion.

Amber (8) is described as being 120cm tall with a thin build, long straight brown hair and an olive complexion.

Earlier, the children’s mother, Rachel Jackamarra was reported missing with her youngest daughter, one-year-old Angelina Jackamarra-Smith.

She was later found by police.

Anyone who sees either of the children is urged to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
