Round 25 of the Greek Super League kicks off today with three games, while uncertainty surrounds the fate of two scheduled matches tomorrow.

Today at 3.00 pm, 11th-placed Giannina take on Panetolikos, which is currently seventh, while at 5.15 pm 12th-placed Platanias hosts Panionios which sits at fifth.

The late game on Saturday starts at 7.30 pm and will feature third-placed Panathinaikos against Atromitos, which is 13th on the table.

On Sunday there are four games scheduled, although two of them may not be played at all.

Reports in the Greek media suggest PAOK may not show up for its 3.00 pm game in Komotini against Panthrakikos, while it has also been suggested that the Iraklis against Olympiakos game will be postponed by the government, amid fears that sending Olympiakos to Thessaloniki given the current climate could be courting further violence.

Last week Olympiakos clinched the Greek Super League for a record 43rd time with six matches to spare after recording a 3-nil win at home to Veria on Sunday.

Two goals from veteran David Fuster and a late strike from Alan Pulido was enough to give the Reds an easy win that puts them 21 points clear of second-placed AEK Athens.

Olympiakos has now won the title for six straight seasons and an incredible 18 times from the last 20 seasons.

Two other games on Sunday should go ahead. Both are set for 5.15 pm and feature Veria against Levadiakos and Xanthi versus Kalloni.

The final game of the round is on Monday night and features sixth-placed Asteras Tripolis at home to second-placed AEK Athens.

Last week AEK defeated Panathinaikos in the Athens derby when Ronald Vargas’ goal gave Gus Poyet’s team a 1-nil victory over Panathinaikos.
