Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a Caulfield South man who has been missing for over a month.

Michael Kontoudis was last seen at his home address in Albion Street on 10 December.

The 49-year-old man has not contacted family members for over a month and police have concerns for his welfare.

He is described as being around 175cm tall with a thin build, black balding hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a Chinese dragon on his upper right arm.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown tracksuit pants and blue runners.
