Victoria’s Secret is pegged to be the next international retail giant to open their doors Australia-wide.

According to a report in the Herald Sun, Speciality Fashion Group’s chief executive Gary Perlstein said his company is in talks with the owner of the Victoria’s Secret brand, Limited Brands, to bring the lingerie giant to Australia.

“We are developing a very close relationship with them, so hopefully we can be their licensee here for all their brands,” Mr Perlstein said.

Mr Perlstein did not know when the Victoria’s Secret deal would be completed, but said it would be a coup for Specialty Fashion Group and for Australian women as Victoria’s Secret is one of the world’s most popular lingerie brands.

The label is well-known for it’s cheeky fashion parades that feature the ‘Angels’, models dressed in skimpy lingerie such as Australian beauty Miranda Kerr and German supermodel Heidi Klum, and sexy revealing catalogues to promote their products.

As part of a recent trend, Victoria’s Secret will be yet another international brand to set up shop in Australia, with Gap opening at Chadstone in August and Zara set to open in Sydney and Melbourne.
