Marcus Ambrose, Australia’s only NASCAR driver qualified 7th in the Texas 500 over the weekend before running an almost perfect race to at one time lead the pack before finishing 6th overall. Mark Kenseth – Ford finished in top spot, Clint Bowyer in a Chev, second and Carl Edwards in another Ford third.

In his best showing so far after six rounds, Marcus has earned over US $1 million and is currently sitting just outside the top 10 NASCAR drivers on the championship ladder (the chase) and is poised to join the elite ranks of the chase if he keeps up consistent top 10 finishes.
