Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos on Thursday heralded the launch of a media campaign to improve Greece’s battered international image, starting on August 20.

Answering a question submitted in Parliament by PASOK MP and former Health Minister Andreas Loverdos, Avramopoulos said the ministry had sent a circular to Greek diplomatic missions around the world, asking them to take all possible action to address the impact of the debt crisis on Greece’s image.

The aim of the campaign, Avramopoulos said, was for Greece to be recast as “outward-looking, proud and dignified.”

Here are few points for Mr Avramopoulos to consider in his campaign to re-brand Greece abroad: 1. Hire a professional marketing advertising company and please get out of the way! 2. Actually arrest and charge the thugs who are beating up on refugees - i.e. Golden Dawn 3. Stop overcharging tourists for average food 4. Don't beat up on Germans - you may need them as tourists 5. Stop the victim mentality, take responsibility develop some civic pride and begin acting accordingly Lambis SA
