Dora's recipe: Cuttlefish with greens
Dora Kitinas-Gogos shows us how to cook with cuttlefish with this delicious Lenten recipe
Ingredients
1 kilo of cuttlefish
1/2 kilo of silver beet
1 onion finely cut
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper
Method
1. Clean the cuttlefish by removing the bone and the ink, if they are large cut them in smaller pieces
2. Wash the silver beet well
3. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and saute the onion and the garlic till translucent
4. Add the cuttlefish and stir well
5. Add the silver beet with salt and pepper
6. Cover the saucepan and allow to cook on a slow heat for about 1 hour.
