Greek French actress, Adele Exarchopoulos was awarded by the Utah film critics association for her performance in the drama Blue Is the Warmest Color.
In this indie romantic film, Adele plays the role of a young girl who falls in love with an older woman.
The 20-year-old star was sent by her parents to acting classes to cure her shyness, at the age of 9.
Kicking goal after goal, she has also won the Palme D’Or, becoming the youngest winner ever of the Cannes Film Festival award.
Other distinctions include the LA Film Critics Association Award and the National Board of Review Award for Best Actress.
