Super League to kick off with a fiery derby

AEK will face Olympiakos in the opening match of the 2009/10 Greek Super League on Saturday August 22 after the random draw for the season took place in Alexandroupolis last week.
The match continues the tradition of a major derby kicking off the league in Athens, while Panathinaikos travel away to Crete to face Ergotelis.
PAOK are away to Alvaro Recoba's Panionios, and Macedonian side Aris host the newly promoted west Athenian club Atromitos.
All three of the newly promoted sides, including PAS Yiannina kick-off their campaigns away from home.
