Dora's recipe: Fritters with walnuts and mushrooms
Fritters don't always have to be made with meat, as shown in this recipe by Dora Kitinas-Gogos
Ingredients
2 medium onions finely cut
275 grams mushrooms finely cut
5 tablespoons olive oil for sauté
150 grams walnuts
1/2 cup soy milk
275 grams corn crumb
A little dry sage or oregano
A little basil
Salt and pepper
Method
Heat over to 190C
1. Sauté the onion and mushroom in the oil on slow heat
2. Add all the other ingredients and mix well
3. The mixture must be pliable and make into fitters and line up in an ovenproof pan
4. Bake for 45 minutes
* Serves five to six people
