Two Greek Australian football players have been selected in the Qantas Joeys 20-player squad for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation U-16 Preparatory Tournament in Vientiane, Laos from 2 to 8 June
Two Greek Australian football players have been selected in the Qantas Joeys 20-player squad for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation U-16 Preparatory Tournament in Vientiane, Laos from 2 to 8 June. The Qantas Joeys will play three matches in the four-nation tournament against Japan, Laos and Thailand.
The Joeys, led by Head Coach Alistair Edwards, will assemble in Canberra on Sunday 27 May for a short pre-tournament training camp before heading to Laos next Wednesday.
Football Federation Australia would like to thank the AIS for their ongoing support for this training camp & tournament and the Qantas Joeys Football Program.
The 20 player squad includes: Jordan Thurtell (gk); Darcy Madden; Aaron Calver; Benjamin Warland; Dylan Pickert; Kevin Ly; Steve Kuzmanovski; Liam Rose; Lawrence Hanna; Daniel De Silva; Alex Gersbach; Lucas Spinella (gk); Jeremy Tshongo; Jack Iredale; Brendan Gonano; Matthew Ntoumenopoulos; Joshua MacDonald; Lukas Stergiou Sutherland; Bright Appiah; and Matthew Schmidt.
