Greece's world indoor high jump champion Dimitrios Chondrokoukis will pull out of the London Olympics after testing positive for a banned substance, his father said in a statement.
"Dimitris will not take part in the Olympic Games, leaving unfulfilled a dream of a lifetime,» his father and coach Kyriakos Chondrokoukis said in a statement.
The high jumper has asked for a retest, his father said.
No official statement has been made yet.
Greek triple jump athlete Voula Papachristou, who had been part of Greece's delegation to the London Olympics, was on Wednesday disqualified over a racist posting on her Twitter account earlier this week.
