A tour featuring traditional folk and laiki artists will hit Australia at the end of this month

A tour featuring traditional folk and laiki artists will hit Australia at the end of this month. The talented laiko artists will join forces to give Australian audiences a genuine Greek musical experience.
The group of musicians from Greece include: singer Evdokia who brings a wealth of experiences as the former back-up singer to Makis Christothoulopoulos, she's played in Australia before and is looking forward to returning; clarinet player Makis Bezos; singer Andrea Konstantinopoulos who has four albums under his belt already; violinist Lefteris Zervas, who also played with Christothoulopoulos and is returning again to perform in Australia. Accompanying them will be singer Helen Dimolianis and on bouzouki Antonis Poulakis.
The musicians are set to perform three shows only in Australia. In Sydney on Saturday 23 June at the Fantasia Lemnos, for tickets call 0433 820 114; in Adelaide on Friday 29 June at Krystal Lounge, for tickets call (08) 8722 5949 and the last show in Melbourne on Saturday 30 June at Nafpatko House, 2-18 Ross Street, Heatherton. For tickets call 0405 441 721. Tickets to the show are $95.
