• Although Lindsay Lohan had a tough time as artistic advisor for French fashion house Ungaro, it hasn’t deterred her from expanding her own fashion line. After launching her 6126 leggings collection in 2008, the star has revealed she will be launching a full range of apparel later this year, with plans to expand into jewellery, cosmetics and accessories in the future. Prices will range from $18 to $300.
  • UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has been named Worst Dressed Man of the year by GQ magazine. Unfortunately for the PM, the magazine deemed his fashion crimes even worse than those committed by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il, who is famed for his extensive pantsuit collection. To add to his woes, the leader of the UK opposition, David Cameron, appeared at number eight on the best dressed list.
  • Fashion designer Giorgio Armani will launch his first hotel in the Burj Dubai tower – the world’s tallest building. The Armani Hotel is the first of a series of hotels and resorts to be developed by Armani. It will have 160 rooms, a spa, two restaurants, and a nightclub and will occupy ten of the 169 storey building.
