Pop superstar Madonna has arrived in Greece to holiday in the sun with her family and 25-year-old boyfriend.
The singer arrived on her private yacht and is staying in a mansion on the island of Ithaca that includes access to a private beach. The 54-year-old has reportedly asked for the hotel’s walls to be re-painted white to her liking, and asked for white carpets and white flowers to be brought into every room.
Along with her children Lourdes and Rocco, Madonna also travels with her bodyguards and her personal trainer, and has even brought a specific watersports teacher for the stay.
The locals are said to be very excited about hosting the high profile visitor and have been keen to catch a glimpse.
The singer has been a long time fan of the Greek islands. In 2010 she enjoyed a secret vacation on the island of Mykonos and also made a stop in Rhodes on her private yacht.
Also island hopping are Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who regularly holiday to the island of Skiathos. Before reaching Greece, the couple made a stop in Spain.
