Migration 2011 Conference kicks off today in Surfers Paradise
Over 250 migration agents, government officials, lawyers and academics will congregate in Surfers Paradise Queensland for the Migration 2011 conference. The conference is hosted by the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA) will begin Friday 15 September and close on Saturday 16 September.
Delegates of the conference will hear a broad spectrum of presentation and panel discussions from Australia's foremost migration experts.
"Our delegates will learn about every aspect of Australia immigration, from international education to airport security, from regional area visa programs to climate change refugees," said Maurene Horder, MIA, CEO. "Australia's migration is rich and diverse and there's more to it than unauthorised boat arrivals."
