Move over Zara, Topshop's moving in
The dust hasn't even settled with Zara's onslaught on the Australian market before news that Topshop, UK's clothing juggernaut, is setting up shop in Australia
The dust hasn't even settled with Zara's onslaught on the Australian market before news that Topshop, UK's clothing juggernaut, is setting up shop in Australia.
Like Zara, Sydney will be the first place that will house the first Topshop store. The Australian Financial Review reported that the clothing group will lease a spot on the corner of George and Market Streets in Sydney's CBD. And don't fret Melbourne, Topshop has also been rumoured to be interested in taking over the Borders sites in Chapel Street and Chadstone Shopping Centre.
Topshop knows the Australian market well, with Australian shoppers being their largest online buyers. The demand for Topshop in Australia is bigger than Zara with hundreds of Aussie girls all wanting the Kate Moss look.
