Greek American actor Billy Zane has just signed up to star in a new movie titled Chimera alongside Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu.
The film is rumoured to be a paranormal thriller.
The picture’s director and producer have approached the actress for the role and sources close to Bipasha have hinted that the actress has agreed to take part opposite hunky Zane.
Director Tapan Saha has stated that, “Zane plays an American doctor who takes up an offer in India to work in a hospital where he will then treat Bipasha.”
The movie will feature a sizzling lovemaking scene between the two stars and Saha has expressed that it will be a performance that Indian cinema has never seen the actress do before.
Billy Zane was born in Chicago to Greek American parents who were both amateur actors. His father shortened the family surname to Zane from Zanetakos.
Chimera is scheduled for release this July.
