2009 Antipodes Festival

A warm and balmy Saturday and Sunday, a great act from Greece and lots of great food, entertainment and cultural displays saw Lonsdale Street packed to the rafters. After a two year absence Melbournians - both Greeks and non-Greeks - turned up in droves to celebrate as only the Greeks know how - with orexi and kefi.

It was a party conducted in good spirits with those in attendance making it clear that they were glad the festival was back. Join us as we give you a taste of the weekend that was the 2009 Antipodes Festival.
