Lorne’s resident fisherman-poet, Christos Raskatos, scrawls haiku and Greek verse on the chalkboard outside his shop, next to where he hangs the day’s catch. And as part of the Lorne Festival of the Performing Arts next weekend, he will do just that in his show Oysters and Oratory with Christos.
Grab a 1/2 dozen oysters and marvel at the spoken word and poetry read by Lorne’s resident Greek poet.
The Great Ocean Road is set to come alive next weekend for the third annual festival, hosted by Love Lorne.
This year’s program will run from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 September. For more information visit www.lovelornefestival.com.au
