The Slap took home the Silver Logie for Outstanding Drama Series, Miniseries or Telemovie and actress Melissa George took the Silver Logie for Outstanding Actress for her performance as Rosie in the eight-part series.
Alex Dimitriades whose brilliant performance of Harry in The Slap went unnoticed in both the public and peer voting.
The actor, who got his start in the iconic Australian movie The Heartbreak Kid, is rumoured to be moving to the US to further his acting career.
