Melburnian wrestler Alexi Papadopoulos will defend his title Saturday night against Jay Andrews
Hot on the heels of his South Pacific New Age Wrestling Championship, Alexi Papadopoulos is about to face his most formidable opponent yet, Jay Andrews as part of Melton Mayhem. Known around wrestling ring as the "hardest hitting man" in wrestling, Alexi told Neos Kosmos that he has his work cut out for him. Jay has been wrestling in Australia and Japan for nearly ten years with Alexi only at it for five, he is definitely feeling the pressure.
"I use a lot of positive thinking before matches," he tells us how he gets ready for shows. "I like to sit in the corner alone and psyche myself into it." Melton Mayhem will take place on Saturday 22 October at the Melton Darts Centre, 63 Reserve Road, Melton at 7.00 pm.
