A Greek experience not to be missed will be had by all in Woden, Canberra as the Hellenic Club showcases the best of Hellenism between the 20 March to 7 April for the Tastes of Greece Festival.

The official opening will be kicked off by his excellency Alexios Christopoulos, the ambassador of the Hellenic Republic at the club on Tuesday 20 March at 5:30 pm. That will launch a Greek wine tasting and sale till 8:30 pm. You can taste and purchase a variety of wines from Greek wine importers.

An exhibition titled Greece through the eyes of Australian artists will feature Australian artists exhibiting and seeling their artwork from their recent visits to Greece.

The exhbition will be shown at the Hellenic Community Gallery, Ground Floor, Hellenic Club, Woden from 20 March to 7 April during 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Grecian food will be highlighted at the club’s well known restaurant Hellenic Trattoria, which will present a special menu of delicious Greek dishes and desserts to sample for lunch and dinner complimented by Greek wine.

Greek band Ethos will perform traditional live Greek music at the club on Tuesday 20 March, Tuesday 27 March an Monday 2 April.
