Nick Kyrgios has us all hoping he would change his ways based on his Australian Open performance a few months ago but the semi final match-up of the Queen’s Club Championships against Croatian Marin Čilić over the weekend proves otherwise.

The Greek Australian player decided to start jacking his water bottle off between sets in front of a camera that broadcast the obscene act live on global television.

Kyrgios started rubbing the tiny water bottle up and down pretending it was his penis, pressed the bottle spurting water out and then drank some.

Such an act during a major Wimbledon warm-up event did not, of course, go unpunished with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) slapping the rude Aussie with a AUD$23,590 fine which will be deducted from his AUD$165,531 payment for reaching the semi final.

The ATP Tour classified the act as “inappropriate”, a moment that had host broadcaster BBC apologise to viewers twice in three days.

His behaviour after the end of the match -which saw him lose 7-6 (7-3) 7-6(4) to Čilić – was reportedly worse.
