To help raise funds for the people in need after the disastrous fires of Attica, Anna Timou and Matthew Staios will hold a pop-up Greek coffee shop at On the Mend shoe store in Fitzroy on Saturday 11 August.
Taking place from 2.30pm until 5.00pm, all funds gathered will be given to the Hellenic Red Cross foundation as Anna and Matt look to reach their goal of 500 coffees for the day.
Maria Vamvakinou MP and President of the Greek Community of Melbourne, Bill Papastergiadis will also be attending the event to show their support towards the people of Athens. An open invitation has also been extended by the hosts toward the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne.
For anyone wishing to attend and to assist the Athenians, your help will be greatly appreciated.
