Dynamo Kiev welcomed Olympiacos to Ukraine after the 2-2 home draw last week.

This time, the Ukrainians proved to be more effective in their attack, taking most of the few chances they created thus ending the dream for Olympiacos with a score of 1-0. Olympiacos underperformed, especially in the first half and ended their European dream with a 1-0 loss.

UEFA’s official website listed the aggregate score as 3-2. Leg 1 had ended in a 2-2 draw following a game played in Greece.

In Ukraine, striker Fran Sol scored the only goal at 32′.

UEFA’s official website stated: “Sol’s first-half goal has helped them [Dynamo] see off Greek opposition at this stage for the second season running. But the main celebrations at the whistle are from [goalkeeper Denys] Boyko, who produced a string of saves to deny an Olympiacos side who will feel they should have done better on the night.”
