After last year’s sell-out performances of Vasilis Tsikaras’ Soutzouk Loukoum, expectations were high for the troupe’s next production of Sorry, Wrong Bed.

Sneak peeks on social media lead to great anticipation, and audiences at Sydney’s Mytilenean House were not disappointed. No sooner had the lights dimmed that an incredible performance unfolded showcasing the enormous talent and versatility of the Dionysus Theatre Company with Lucy Miller at the helm in her directorial debut.

The award-winning black comedy, winner of Best Theatrical Play in 2017-2018, had audiences hooked from the start as a couple pull up at a mysterious-looking motel for a rest after an exhausting drive. Nothing seems to work in the hotel, and the manager has an eerie air about him. It doesn’t take long for a strange chain of events to unleash with unexpected outcomes. Chaos, unexpected secrets and all manner of misunderstandings lead to a hilarious exploration of themes around human relationships.
